Youtheatre in the News: New YouTheatre director wants to share her love of theatre 
Give your youth the gift of confidence. All classes will culminate in a live performance on the Egyptian Theatre stage! Our Spring 2012 program runs from February 6th-May 12th, 2012 Our HistorySince 1995 the Egyptian Theatre has enriched children's lives through their YouTheatre programs. YouTheatre has taught over a thousand aspiring actors who have gone onto study acting in college or pursue careers in the theatrical arts. Some former YouTheatre students have performed on Broadway - their dream come true! Our MissionThe Egyptian Theatre YouTheatre program is based on the premise that participating in an arts program is an important aspect in the growth of every child. From the teamwork of being part of a cast, the discipline required putting on a production, and the confidence gained performing before a live audience, our young actors are instilled with an appreciation for the performing arts that will carry them into adulthood. 
A fun introduction to "The World of Theatre" through improv games, vocal and movement exercises, and character development. Jeremy Ranch Elementary Mondays 
Learn to think quickly and cleverly on your feet while learning a variety of improvisational skills - emphasis on acting, comedic timing, pantomime, and story focus. 
This class teaches audition skills, character development, staging, choreography, and vocal projection through the process of putting on a show 
McPolin Elementary Tuesdays
Trailside Elementary Wednesdays
Parley's Park Elementary Thursdays
Mondays: Introduction class for those younger students new to Improv and/or Theatre 
Tuesdays: Advanced classes open to those experienced in both Improv & Theatre.
Spring production will be "Seussical Jr." 
EnrollmentClass sizes are limited and space is available on a first-come first-paid basis. Full payment is required to secure your space. Sibling discount available. CancellationsThe Egyptian Theatre reserves the right to cancel any class if enrollment is insufficient. Any tuition paid will be refunded in full in such an event. If a student must withdraw from class prior to its beginning or prior to the second class, tuition will be refunded minus a $25 service charge. After the second class, no refund will be given.
